Committed to our Faith

Bluefield College is committed to provide a distinctively Christian environment where students will find faculty and staff who genuinely care for their well-being. Our faculty and staff also strive to create and maintain an environment which reflects our life in Christ. We encourage students to use their unique, God given gifts and abilities. We seek to foster growth in the areas of spiritual and emotional maturity, interpersonal relationships and social awareness, coupled with intellectual life.

Spiritual Growth

Opportunities for spiritual growth abound on the campus of Bluefield College. Our campus ministry programs work with students to help them live out the Great Commission as well as the Great Commandment. Whether it is in weekly convocation services or participating in a prayer group, Bluefield College offers students the chance to be a part of a vibrant community of faith.

Our mission is to bring student’s, faculty and staff to an encounter with Christ, then encourage them to grow, equip them for ministry and empower them to fulfill their life’s purpose.
The purpose of Campus Ministry is to influence the campus community with the power of God’s word.  This is accomplished by living out the great commission and the great commandment.

Mission Opportunities

Each semester the students of Bluefield College will also have the chance to travel abroad or locally on the mission field. The mission trips will be life changing events and are a great way to deepen your walk with Christ. You will be able to serve others and our Master through these mission opportunities.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an athletic ministry that seeks to serve coaches and athletes. Our mission statement is: "To present to coaches and athletes and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church." Our sole purpose is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to coaches and athletes. We don't limit FCA to only athletes, but we are an athletic ministry. It's our platform to share the gospel.  FCA meets every other Thursday.
